Ingredients:
2 cups of Fresh Black Cherries;
1 large Banana; and,
3 capfuls of Cooking wine sherry.
Instructions:
Heat the pitted and halved black cherries in a skillet on medium to medium high temperature. After a minute or two, add the cooking wine sherry. The black cherries should caught on fire or flambe. Snuff out the flambe with the skillet lid after 30 seconds. Take the black cherries out of the pan. Add the sliced bananas, and there you have it. Sharleece's banana and black cherry topping. It is good on pancakes, salmon, desserts or by itself. NOTE: Do not use frozen black cherries, because the high water content decreases the likelihood of a successful flambe.
